S.W. Botrus (Tetraploid Westerwolds): is an excellent versatile annual ryegrass which can be used for hay, silage or pasture. It establishes quickly, has high digestibility, palatability and has excellent regrowth. It grows well in cool fall weather providing good pasture up to snow cover.
We recommend a seeding rate of 18-20 lbs./acre for hay or silage. For pasture 20-25 lbs./acre. The seed must be sown in the cereal box on most drills. We fertilize with 22-11-11 at the rate of 210 lbs/acres when seeded and top-dressed with 100 lbs. of 34-0-0 when the crop has emerged. cartier replica
